About this project

Safari Rush emerged from my fascination with endless runner mechanics, blending the addictive simplicity of Chrome's T-Rex game with the vibrant aesthetic sensibilities of Crossy Road.

As my third venture into game development, this 2D endless animal running adventure represents a significant milestone in my creative journey.

The visual direction draws inspiration from Thomas Brush's distinctive art style, while the fluid gameplay mechanics echo the mesmerizing flow found in Alto's Odyssey.

Built using Unity and C#, this project served as both canvas and classroom—allowing me to apply existing knowledge while pushing me to master new technical challenges. The visuals, crafted meticulously in Photoshop, reflect my evolving artistic voice, while carefully selected sound effects from public sources complete the immersive experience.

More than just a game, Safari Rush embodies my philosophy of transforming abstract concepts into tangible, interactive experiences that spark joy and engagement.
